Classical concert Cedar guitar with some alternative woods

In this guitar I have resumed my interest in trying alternative wood species, with the purpose of demonstrating that they have nothing to envy to the most common in high quality guitars, such as rosewood or ebony, highly prized and with more than proven acoustic characteristics, but at the same time subject to restrictions in their trade due to their vulnerable situation.

Therefore, I wanted to try to build this model, following the same traditional construction method, but using mongoy wood for the sides and back, and katalox for the fingerboard. Both species have very similar acoustic characteristics to rosewood and ebony, with a really attractive look. Although I have maintained the use of rosewood for the bridge, having opted for these species that are emerging as real alternatives in the market, may be a way to demonstrate that we can indeed continue to make guitars minimizing the impact on the planet.
